Refund policy

Cancellation of orders

You may cancel your order provided that the order has not been shipped, and a full refund will be issued to your account. Please contact us immediately to notify us of the order you wish to cancel.

Please note that if the shipment has left our warehouse we are unable to process a refund.

Returns & Exchanges

We currently do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different size or style please place a new order for the style and size. 

If you would like to return a product purchased from Black & Brown for a refund, you may request a return for your item(s) within 14 days from receipt of the order. Please contact us for a unique Returns Authorisation number before sending back any items, without this we will not be able to process a return. You will then have a further 7 days following your request to return unsuitable items. If the item is shipped outside this timeframe we may refuse receipt of the parcel and any potential refund will be at our discretion and a credit note will be offered for these items instead.

The returned goods must be packaged in the same box or padded envelope or another equivalent to protect the goods during transit. The goods must be in a new and unused state with the labels intact – and any goods or accessories that accompany the returned product must also come back to us. Returns that do not meet our policy will be sent back to you at your cost.

Please note that the returns fee will be the responsibility of the customer. We do not offer free returns at this time. For international returns, we can provide you with a DHL label at a cost of $30/30 which will be deducted from your final refund. This is easiest way for us to receive the goods in a timely manner.

For any returns not sent via DHL please ensure all returns are sent back to us with proof of tracking to ensure a timely refund, as we cannot be held responsible for undelivered or lost returns.

For European and international deliveries, please note that full refunds exclude any shipping charges, customs, duties and taxes that you may have paid upon receipt of your order. For international returns please ensure 'BRITISH RETURNED GOODS' is marked on the shipping label.

For any orders which are shipped and subsequently rejected or not collected by the recipient which is then returned to us, we will process a refund minus the original shipping fee and any additional fees to have the parcel returned to us. Please note any taxes or duties which are payable will not be refunded, these charges remain the responsibility of the receiver and can be claimed back from your local customs office.

Once you have received your unique RA number please send the item(s) to the address provided.

For any orders shipped and subsequently rejected or not collected by the recipient which is then returned to us, we will process a refund minus all shipping fees incurred.

Please note that we aim to process all returns within 14 days, during busier periods this may take a little longer.

Please note that Gift Cards are non-refundable.

Sale Items

Products marked Final Sale or Sample Sale are not eligible for a return or refund.

Faulty Items

We are really sorry if you have received a faulty item from us, we do try to ensure each item is checked and packed before shipping the item out.

If the return is due to an incorrect, missing or faulty item(s) received then we will offer a full refund or replacement provided we are notified of this within 48 hours of receipt.

Please contact us  immediately with your name and order number with a brief explanation of the fault. Items are classed as faulty if they are received damaged, or where it can be proven that there has been a manufacturing defect. Items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear shall not be considered faulty.

Any refund, which is due to a fault or other defect, will include a refund of the applicable delivery charge. Please note that we do not accept returns for merchandise that was not purchased via this website.

If you purchased merchandise from an authorised Black & Brown retailer and you wish to exchange or refund your item(s), you must contact the original stockist directly.

This returns policy does not affect your legal rights.
